Hazardous areas are categorized into zones according to the assessment of the frequency of the occurrence and duration of an explosive atmosphere. A zone is an area in which an explosive gas atmosphere:

1. is present continuously or for long periods of time, Zone 0;
2. is likely to occur in normal operation, Zone 1;
3. is not likely to occur in normal operation and, if it occurs, will only exist for a short time. Zone 2.

Application of Explosion proof bridge crane

The proof marks are Exd BT4 and Exd CT4.

Explosion proof bridge crane is applied to sites, where is not higher than the II B or II C-class, and the sites with explosive air mixture formed with inflammable gas (or steam) and air whose factory ignition temperature groups of not less than the T4 group.
